Multi award winning Maclay Inns are recruiting for an experienced General Manager to run Berts Bar, an iconic traditional bar situated in Edinburgh's West End.  The bar has a strong reputation for food and sport but is best known for its excellent range of Cask Ales.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• A minimum of 2 years experience leading both bar and food operations.

• A background in delivering great standards to their customers, through developing and inspiring their teams.

• A track record of measurable sales building within a standards led environment, and show past experience of implementing successful marketing/advertising strategies.

• Previous history in dealing with Cask Ales.

• A good understanding of the market in Edinburgh.
