Wheel Inn, Scone, by PerthMulti award winning Maclay Inns are now recruiting for a talented, highly motivated, enthusiastic and hard working Second Chef to assist our established Head Chef. The Wheel Inn is a recently refurbished pub/restaurant serving traditional high quality fresh food to a local and tourist customer base. Applicants will primarily be supporting our Head Chef and managing the kitchen operation in his absence. Candidates should be friendly and enthusiastic to work alongside our existing kitchen team as well as experienced in producing high quality, freshly prepared food. Experience at this level of Kitchen Management would be beneficial however candidates who have been trained to Chef de Partie level in a more formal hotel environment will also be considered. A good understanding of food hygiene legislation and current Food Hygiene Certification is preferred. Hours of work are 40-45 hours per week flexibly over 5-7 days.
